Aakash IV to have 4G support including voice calling

The next generation of cheapest Aakash tablet specs has been revealed by the Government on Monday, but the final price of the product has not be told. Aakash IV to have a of 3537 Antutu Benchmark score. The tablet to weigh less than 500 grams. Here comes the specifications




Aakash IV to sport a 7-inch display with 800x480px resolution, and to have better CPU than Aakash II. To have 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expandable via microSD card. Tablet to have dual boot with Android JellyBean and Ubuntu. Battery to support 3hours of 720p video and 5 hours of web browsing.  


Aakash II was launched at Rs.2,300 last year.
