Acer launches Iconia W3 Windows 8 tablet in India at Rs.27,999

There are going to be two variants  W3-810-27602G06nsw 64GB and W3-810-27602G03nsw 32GB.The storage can be expanded via microSD card.

W3-810 is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 processor and runs on Microsoft Windows 8 Pro. Will sport a 8.1-inch WXGA display with 1280x800px resolution. Got 2GB of RAM and Intel GMA 3650 graphics chipset. Has got connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, microHDMI and microUSB 2.0 port. Has a powerful 2MP camera for Skype calling and a rear camera. 

Comes with pre-installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013. The optional full-size keyboard would cost around $90.

In India 32GB variant to be available as of now.

Acer announces Liquid S1 which runs on Android

Acer Liquid S1 sports a 720p 5.7-inch display, powered by MediaTek quad core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. Houses 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card. Has got 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash and a front camera for video calling. Houses 2,400mAh batter and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The dimensions of the smartphone are 163x83x9.5 mm and weighs 195 grams. Acer Liquid S1 is priced at 349 euros and to be available in White and Black color options.

Acer to announce an Intel PC which runs on Android OS at $400. DA220HQL AiO sports a 21.5-inch display, powered by Intel Core i5 4430 CPU clocked at 3GHz coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. Has got 8GB onboard storage, which can be expandable via microSD card and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. There are some connectivity options like ethernet port, 3x USB and microHDMI slot. Got a 1.2MP camera for video calling.

Seems like Microsoft has got a new competitor in Desktop PC world.

Acer W3-810 to be the first 8-inch tablet to run Microsoft's full Windows 8 and not the Windows 8 RT. Is expected with dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. May feature a 2MP rear and front camera.

Acer Liquid E2 sports a 4.5-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 X 540px and runs on Android 4.1 out of the box. Powered by quad core MediaTek MT6589 CPU clocked at 1.2Ghz coupled with 1GB of RAM. Has an internal memory of 4GB and can be expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. Got a 8MP AF rear camera with LED flash and a front 2MP camera for video calling. Comes with connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio and GPS and 3G. Houses a 2000mAh battery and weighs 140 grams.

The device will be available in UK, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Ukraine, France, Spain, Russia and Netherlands. The device may be price around 230$ (₹12400)

There are no words from Acer that when the device will be available in India.
