Acer launches first 8 inch tablet which runs on Windows 8 Pro

There are going to be two variants  W3-810-27602G06nsw 64GB and W3-810-27602G03nsw 32GB.The storage can be expanded via microSD card.





W3-810 is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 processor and runs on Microsoft Windows 8 Pro. Will sport a 8.1-inch WXGA display with 1280x800px resolution. Got 2GB of RAM and Intel GMA 3650 graphics chipset. Has got connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, microHDMI and microUSB 2.0 port. Has a powerful 2MP camera for Skype calling and a rear camera. 




Comes with pre-installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 and is priced at $380, will be available in US from June 4 at most leading Microsoft retail stores. The optional full-size keyboard would cost around $90.

Acer W3-810 made Official

Acer to make official announcement on W3-810, which was leaked online on June 4. 

Acer W3-810 leaked online before its official launch on Amazon.com for $379.99 equal to Indian Rs.20,000. Acer W3-810 to be the first 8-inch tablet to run Microsoft's full Windows 8 and not the Windows 8 RT. Is expected with dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. May feature a 2MP rear and front camera.
