Samsung rolling out Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3 GT-I9300


Samsung has skipped the 4.2 Jelly Bean update by rolling out Android 4.3 to its Vodafone users in Ireland. Once updated to Android 4.3, S3 becomes one of the few device to support Galaxy Gear. This may boost the sale of Galaxy Gear. If your a S3 Vodafone branded user in Ireland, you can update your device via Samsung KIES or OTA.

Android 4.4 KitKat Top features


Caller ID and New dialler:

Now integrated with improved caller ID for calls from a phone number not listed in your contacts and will look for matches from businesses with a local listing on Google Maps. Will automatically prioritises your contact listing on who you called the most.

Android 4.4 KitKat to bring all messages like SMS, MMS, with hangout intergration, all in one place. The new hangout will now allow user to send GIF images and share their locations.








Okay Google:

Google Now can now be activated without tapping the mic icon. That means one can just launch Google now by just saying hot word "okay google" from home screen. User can play song, check stock, send text messages by using voice command.

Now user can print photos, Document and web pages from their Android 4.4 powered device like Phone and tablets using Google Cloud Print.













New Icon and User interface:



Android 4.4 KitKat brings translucent effect to both notification and navigation bar, and to offer full screen wallpaper. The lock can now show full screen album cove if one is listening to a song in the back ground.

Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean goes official


Google announced Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with New Generation Nexus 7. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will soon be available to Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. And will take a couple of days for Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play Editions to receive.

Now experience Google Now on Sony Xperia ion


Sony has started rolling out Jelly Bean update for Xperia ion, the update is now available to India and some European countries. Update build version is 6.2.B.0.211, and the size of the update to be nearly 500MB.



The phone was launched last year for Rs.32,000 and sports a dual core 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8260 mobile processor with 1GB of RAM, added with a Adreno 220 graphics. It has a 12.1MP rear camera and a front 1.3MP camera. It comes with inbulit storage of 16GB and can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. This smartphone runs on Android v4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, up gradable to Jelly BeanBuy Sony Xperia Ion  For Rs.21490 INR, Which Was Launched at Rs.32,00 INR.
